An Invitation to the 2022 HSJ Online Benefit
Pete Law and Violet Dickerson, have volunteered to do improv comedy. Pete has had much acting guidance through visits to Chicago and Hollywood and has applied those experiences to many local plays and several movie roles. Violet has worked with Pete on several acting projects. Both are former and outstanding Hope Elementary teachers.
Tim McNamee, a Hauser graduate and CEO of Blue Tassel Farm, a farm that has helped many inner-city youths, will do a jingle he wrote about the ladies at WILLow LeaVes and another one about HSJ Online. And he will do two original songs, one related to the Clifford area and the other related to the Hope area. Tim's newly restored ministry van in the parking lot will surely draw attention.
Don Hewitt, HSJ President, will introduce the team and share a few words about the team's commitment to always having a local media source as evident by the HSJ Foundation established in 2021 through Scott Mings, HSJ Financial Consultant since 2015, and Raymond James. Jenn Willhite, HSJ Content Coordinator starting in May of this year and HSJ Features Writer since 2015, will end with a few words about her passion for good news and the community of Hope.
The charge for the evening is $15 which includes dinner, cash only please. Sally Webster, well known in the Hope area and whose songs have been streamed throughout the world, and her sister, Pam Anderson, will provide wonderful music during dinner time. WILLow LeaVes will then graciously give part of their proceeds back to HSJ.
Donation forms and envelopes will be on tables as well as HOPE Always & Forever bracelets expressing thanks for your support. We are hoping former and new contributors will help us reach our yearly budget of $14,500. Our Facebook Likes have now moved beyond 1,750.
