The Indiana Rural Letter Carriers Museum Grand Opening

 

The Yellow Trail Museum is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Indiana Rural Letter Carriers Museum on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Hope and Hartsville claim the honor of having the first rural mail delivery in Indiana, both starting on October 15, 1896.  Please join us in celebrating the 127th anniversary of rural free mail delivery.

Schedule

  • 2:00 – 5:00 Open House and ice cream social at the museum
  • 5:15 Welcome and speeches at bandstand
  • 5:30 Ribbon cutting ceremony at bandstand
  • 6:00 Meal at WILLow LeaVes of Hope
