Barbara Tallent Mee, 81, Hope

Barbara "Tallent" Mee, 81, of Hope passed away Sunday April 2, 2023 at Miller's Merry Manor.
Born November 10, 1941 in Albany, KY she was the daughter of Aaron and Lura Burchett Tallent. She married James Mee April 8, 1968 and he preceded her in death June 20, 2020.
Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Before retirement Barbara was employed by Airmark Food Services as a food prep supervisor.
Barbara is survived by sons, Scott (Tracy) Mee of Greensburg and James "Tony" (Claudette) Mee of Hope; grandchildren, Tyler Mee, James (Olivia) Mee, Aaron Mee, Jacob Mee, Noah Mee, Addison Mee, Bret (Mindy Mullis) Hollman, Ryan Hollman, Josh (Chloe) Shepherd, Caleb (Megan) Shepherd and Ashton (Jon) Hibbs; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, F.M. Tallent of Albany, KY and Ronnie (Brenda) Tallent of Hope and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Barbara will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Rodney Smith. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Charles Mee; granddaughter, Adalyn Ann Mee; great granddaughter, Hazel Grace Mee; brothers, Marvin Tallent, Aaron Tallent and Don Tallent and a sister, Elouise Smith.
Barbara's family would like to especially thank Miller's Merry Manor and Our Hospice of South Central Indiana for taking great care of her.
