Main Street of Hope would like to extend a huge Thank You to everyone involved with the Easter Egg that was held April 8 on the Hope Town Square.
The event was sponsored by Windrose Health Network and Columbus Visitor Center. Miller’s Merry Manor was also a big help in hosting the event as they provided 3000 stuffed eggs and several volunteers who helped from set-up to clean up. Thank you to the Main Street board members who gave their time from testing which eggs stayed closed the best to waking super early the day of the event and braving the cold weather.
We want to thank Jodi Zollman for the amazing photo station; Jeff Yarnell for use of his Blackstone grill; WILLow LeaVes of Hope, Reflections Hair on the Square; Gail Wilson for her time and donation with stuffing the eggs; Tammy Files for also stuffing the eggs; Tania Lortz for the amazing hot chocolate station; Sarah Ward for the use of the backdrop for the meet and greet; and the one and only Easter Bunny. We also were able to get hot cocoa cups donated by McDonald's, and a gift card from Walmart.
I hope I didn’t miss anyone.
The event was super successful with around 225 kids hunting the eggs, and Willow leaves served about 165 plates of food.
Tania Lortz tried to keep everyone warned up with Hot Chocolate.
