Main Street of Hope is currently seeking volunteers to help out with "Clean Up Day" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 9.

There are a variety ways individuals can help, says Jenni Richards, president of Main Street of Hope.

Among the various roles available are scrap metal pickup, trash and tire disposal and cleaning up around the Town Square downtown. Individuals who have the time and means to assist with lawn mowing and trimming are also encouraged to reach out. 

Main Street will assist individuals with making contact with those needing help at their residences, Richards says. 

Residents who have items that need to be picked up that day may also contact Richards to be placed on a list of addresses requesting assistance.
