Love Chapel's Outreach Food Pantry Comes to Hope Beginning 03/28

Beginning Wednesday March 1, 2023, Love Chapel mobile food pantries will transition to Outreach Food Pantries serving Columbus and surrounding areas, including Hope.

An Outreach pantry will be offered at 3 p.m. on the 4th Tuesday of EACH MONTH at Hope Elementary School, located at 9575 State Road 9, for residents in Hope, starting March 28th.

According to Love Chapel, clients may still visit the main pantry at 292 Center St., in Columbus, each week for a produce/bread visit, which is in addition to the monthly full pantry visit at either the main pantry or an outreach location.

Main Love Chapel Pantry hours are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 4 to 7 p.m. the first Monday of each month (2nd Monday in July and September).

Outreach pantries are intended to reduce barriers for clients and increase the amount of food received regardless of where the client lives in Bartholomew County. The quantity of food received in one visit to the outreach location will equal that previously received at the main pantry and a mobile pantry.

Clients may visit either the Love Chapel main site or one of the outreach food pantries, but not both.
