Jack Aaron Nolting, 89, Columbus

Jack Aaron Nolting, 89, of Columbus, passed away July 5, 2023, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Jack was born on September 23, 1933, in Clifford, he was the son of Alva and Kathryn (Newton) Nolting.

On June 2nd, Jack married Sandra Toothman, which whom he shared 67 years of marriage.

Jack was a 1950 graduate of Hope High School. Shortly after, Jack entered the Navy in January 1952, serving 4 years with an honorable discharge. He was employed at Cummins for 38 years upon retiring in 1994.

He was a member of the Hope Baptist Church for 50 years. After moving to Columbus, he attended The Ridge Church.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Jack is survived by his loving wife; son, Kenneth (Kim) Nolting of Stillwater, OK; daughters, Cynthia Hutchinson of Stillwater, OK, and Terry (Eddie) Loweth of Columbus; grandchildren, Autumn (Nolting) Focht, Kendall Nolting, Amanda Page, Tyrone Davidson, Tevin Davidson, Keshia Loweth, Bryce Loweth, Cassie (Loweth) Davidson; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, LuAnn Harlow.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home. A private service will be held at Garland Brook Mausoleum with military honors being conducted by Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
