Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Increase of Wastewater Rates and Charges of the Town of Hope

Property owners, ratepayers and other interested parties in or served or to be served by the sewage works of the Town of Hope, Indiana (“Town”) are hereby notified that at the April 18, 2023 meeting of the Town Council of the Town (“Council”), the Council introduced a proposed increase in rates and charges for the Town’s sewage works system. The Council will hold its public hearing on June 20, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. (local time) in the Town Hall, 404 Jackson Street, Hope, Indiana, 47246, to receive public input on the proposed Rate Ordinance authorizing the rate increase (“Ordinance”) and will consider adoption thereof at such time. At the June 20, 2023, meeting of the Council and prior to final adoption of the Ordinance, any property owners, ratepayers or anyone else interested in the proceedings may appear and be heard concerning the proposed rates and charges. The hearing may be adjourned if necessary. A complete copy of the Ordinance may be reviewed at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, Town Hall, 404 Jackson Street, Hope, Indiana, 47246 and at the hearing.
