Cynthia Lou McQueen, 66, of Seymour passed away Sunday May 7, 2023 at Seymour Crossing Health Facility.
Born April 23, 1957, in Columbus Cynthia was the daughter of Franklin D. and Betty A. Waltz McQueen. She graduated from Hauser High School in 1975. She had been employed as a restaurant manager at many different restaurants. She had resided in San Diego, CA for many years before returning to Indiana and residing in Columbus.
Cynthia loved stained glass windows, hummingbirds, cats, music and collecting many things.
She is survived by her mother, Betty A. McQueen of Hope; siblings, Patricia (Peter) Carlton-McQueen of Albuquerque, NM, David (Annette) McQueen of Flat Rock, James (Teresa) McQueen of Hartsville and Tami McQueen of Hope and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Per Cynthia’s wishes cremation is planned and there will be a celebration of Cynthia’s life at a later date.
Her arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Franklin D. McQueen; brother, Allen McQueen and a stillborn sibling, Marchita McQueen.
