Terry Lynn Graves, 78, Hope

Terry Lynn Graves, 78, of Hope passed from this life on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 9:16 p.m. at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mr. Graves was born on August 8, 1944, in Milton, Kentucky, the son of Leonard and Beryl Kidwell Graves. He was united in marriage to Janet L. Bicknell.

Mr. Graves proudly served in the United States Navy and went on to work for the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation where he was an electrician.

He enjoyed playing golf, horseback riding, doing woodwork and above all caring for his home and loving his family.

Survivors include his wife, Janet L. Graves of Hope; daughters, Deanne (Brett) Wilson of Terre Haute and Dawn (Kevin) Jones of Florida; grandchildren, Logan (Taylor) Graves, Kaleb Olivo, Alex (Whitney) McClure, Morgan (Tyrek) McClure-Royal; great grandchildren, Kingston Graves, Nora Graves, Tayley Graves; brother, William (Virginia) Ward; sisters-in-law, Nancy Ward and Virginia Slayton; and several cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd Michael Graves; and a brother, Douglas Ward.

Private graveside services will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Services were entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.

In memory of Mr. Graves, memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
