A little more than two weeks from now the community of Hope will host what organizers anticipate being the largest community garage sale in the history of the town when Main Street of Hope will host a community garage sale from 12 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 10 on the Hope Town Square.

The Prairie Creek Band will rock the bandstand with timeless classic tunes from the 1960s up through the 1990s as visitors can enjoy a variety of games, sponsored by First Financial Bank and Alisha Roberts from State Farm, and shop the more than 20 yard sales on the Hope Town Square alongside sidewalk sales from merchants located on the Square. 

Tasty treats will be prepared and served up by the Hope Volunteer Fire Department and HSJ Online, including hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs and pretzels. Cool sno cone treats will be offered by the Shiver Shack. 

Following the sale, the Orphan Grain Train will be stopping by with a trailer to pick up unsold items vendors wish to offer for donation. 

There are a few spots still available for individuals who would like to participate in the sale.
