Area residents are invited out for a special ribbon cutting at 9:30 a.m. and the official grand opening of the AH-HA Corner Cafe, located at 525 Main St. in Hope, at 11 a.m. Friday.

"We invite everyone down for hot dogs, French fries and a drink," says Amanda Fowler, co-owner of the AH-HA Corner Cafe. 

In answer to inquiries, Fowler says the cafe will not only continue to operate as before, but to-go orders will also continue to be available. 

"We plan on keeping the menu," she adds. "We have also added some of our own things and we are going to offer some more healthier options, too, including gluten-free potatoes, steamed vegetables, grilled chicken and tenderloins, and baked fish."

New signage for the cafe will appear Thursday, she says.

"We appreciate everyone's business and support," Fowler says. "It feels really wonderful. We are going to do the ribbon cutting and we will be open for business for a long time."
