Hope Planning Commission Notice of Public Meeting 11/27

Notice is hereby given that the town of Hope's Planning Commission will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2023, at the Hauser High School Auditorium, 9273 N SR 9.

There are two agenda items.

Rez 2023-01: A petition by Tharp Investments to rezone the property at the southeast corner of State Road 9 and South Street, commonly known as 10021 N SR 9. The petitioner is requesting the property be rezoned from R1, low density single family residential to B1.

AdSub 2023-03: Pat McQueen owns the property at 343 Washington Street which currently has two commercial buildings on it. Mr. McQueen is wanting to subdivide the property and is seeking direction from the Planning Commission before the expense of surveying the property is incurred.

The public is welcome to attend to speak either for or against the petitions. If you wish to comment on these projects but cannot attend the meeting, please submit your comments in writing to Building and Zoning Administrator, 404 Jackson Street, Hope, In 47246. A copy of the petitions are available for review prior to the meeting.
