The Hauser Lady Jets Basketball Team went on the road to Medora and picked up a big win 59-36.
The Jets moved to 1-3 on the year. The Jets were led by MaxPreps Player of Game senior Bella Kilps who produced 10 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals on the night. Junior Norah Berkenstock scored 19 points with 9 deflections and 3 steals. Senior Erykah Everroad continued to do damage from behind the arc hitting three 3-pointers and scoring 13 on the night. She also had 4 steals and 5 deflections. Senior Mattie Foster shot a team high 4/5 from the field to score 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Braelyn Williams, Kennedy Konradi, and Haven Hartwell all chipped in 3 points to round out the scoring for the Jets.
The Jets recorded 21 offensive rebounds producing 11 second chance points. The 12 transition points and 23 points off Medora's 29 turnovers helped blow the game open early in the first half. The defense produced 17 steals and 25 deflections. The Jets turned the basketball over 18 times and shot 36% from the field. Medora was able to shoot 48% on the night, but due to the defensive pressure only had 27 field goal attempts on the night.
The Jets will travel to Waldron on Friday for a JV and Varsity contest starting at 6 p.m.
