Jesse Medford Harris, Jr., 59, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 4:34 p.m. at his residence.
He was born on September 4, 1964, in Indianapolis, the son of Jesse M & Mary (Stone) Harris. Jesse was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and graduated from Hauser High School.
He was an employee of Tops Hardware. He enjoyed gardening, listening to music and enjoyed his pet cats.
Survivors include his daughter, Larissa Harris of Connersville; his son, Tyler Harris of College Corner; his grandchildren, Kenlee Harris, Aubree Harris and Addison Harris; his sisters, Jeanette Welsh of Greensburg, Mary Knight and Brenda Dolan both of Hartsville, Debbie Terry of Wichita Falls, TX and Sandy Tolen of Reddington.
He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Monday from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses through the funeral home.
Following his wishes, cremation will follow.
