Seats are still available for the upcoming Wreath Workshops being offered by the Bartholomew County Historical Society on November 16 and 18 at the Henry Breeding Farm, located at 13730 N. 100 W. in Edinburgh. Pre-registration for these events ends NOVEMBER 2.
Led by Purdue Extension Master Gardeners, these workshops will lead participants in making a hand-crafted wreath that is ready to hang and enjoy just in time for the holidays.
Workshop dates are 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18.
Fee for the workshop is $30 per adult for BCHS members or South Central Indiana Master Gardener Association members. Cost is $35 for non-BCHS and non-SCIMGA members. and includes all supplies, including the fresh greens and ribbon. Attendees are asked to please bring hand clippers and garden gloves.
Refreshments of hot cider and cookies will be offered during the two-hour long workshop. As the workshop will take place in the barn, attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly as the space will only be lightly heated.
