Comic-Con 2024 returns to the University of Library of Columbus from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Moravec Hall, located at 4475 Central Avenue in Columbus.
Additional related activities will be happening at the Columbus Propeller site, located at 4760 Ray Boll Blvd, next to the Columbus Municipal Airport. The air museum is also free and will be open that day, too.
This year’s event offers more than 50 vendors and exhibitors with food trucks at both sites.
Several presenters and performers will take part in the day-long festivities. There will also be a karaoke dance party with Barbie, a talk about the upcoming eclipse offered by a physics professor, a special effects makeup demonstration, Kendo sword demonstration, the Threepios band of Cyborg human musicians, as well as cosplay contests for adults and children and much more.
Visitors are encouraged to visit The Propeller site, the new makerspace – staffed by Ivy Tech instructors, will feature 3-D printing, robotics, metalworking, woodworking, and more.
This event is made possible by Ivy Tech in cooperation with the Indiana Arts Commission, the Bartholomew Couty Public Library, the Propeller, Columbus Area Arts Council.
