Brian Craig Jasper, 59, Hope

Brian Craig Jasper age 59, of Hope, Indiana passed into the presence of the Lord, at home on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Brian was born December 19, 1965, in Columbus, Indiana to the late John “Paul” Jasper and surviving Barbara (Tressler) Jasper.

Brian married his love, Heidi (Ridenour) on December 28, 1985, and she survives. This precious union of 38 years was blessed with two children, Candice (Jasper) Icenogle and Lincoln Jasper.

He was known for his intelligence, wit, and ability connect with all people. He loved explaining scriptures in ways for all to understand and grow in faith. Brian used his bachelor of ministry to serve the community for nearly 40 years. He owned Liberty Tree News and was involved in the We The People of Columbus, IN. He worked on several US Representative's campaigns. Brian was proud of his rich family history dating pre-Revolutionary War. He enjoyed all things cars, long motorcycle and dune buggy rides, fishing, politics, and visiting Alaska. He enjoyed family time with his wife, son, daughter, son-in-law, and one small grandchild.

Brian will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 38 years; son Lincoln Jasper of Hope; daughter Candice Icenogle, son-in-law Jon Icenogle, and precious granddaughter, Éowyn Icenogle all of Bargersville; brother Kevin of Taylorsville; mother Barbara of Hope, and other relatives. Brian was preceded in death by his father; John “Paul” Jasper; paternal grandparents, Norman and Luella Jasper; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Charlotte Tressler.

Friends may come to Norman Funeral Home, 604 Main St, Hope, IN. on Monday, December 30th from 10am-1pm and Jerry Pittman will conduct a service at 1pm. A graveside service will follow at the Shelby Cemetery, 2270 W County Rd 700 S, Versailles, IN.
