Charles Edward Lucas, 73, Columbus

Charles Edward Lucas, 73, of Columbus passed from this life on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:58 p.m. at his home.

Mr. Lucas was born on May 20, 1950, in Franklin, Indiana the son of Clinton A. and Dorothy L. Lawson Lucas.

He enjoyed going for walks and playing games.

Survivors include his siblings, Betty Shepherd of Columbus, Janet Skaggs of Columbus, John Lucas of Hope, and Rickey Lucas of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kenny, Dale, and Ronnie Lucas.

Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.

In keeping with Mr. Lucas’ wishes cremation will take place and there are no services planned at this time.
