The recent arctic blast of cold winter weather and sprinkling of snow have many local residents wishing for spring.  

Make plans now to attend Main Street of Hope and Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators' 11th annual Groundhog Day event at 8:30 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2024.

Come out to the Square and see if miracle marmot Hope will see her shadow for six more weeks of winter, or if an overcast day will call for an early spring. 

Celebration or lamentation to follow at WILLow LeaVes of Hope, located at 326 Jackson St. downtown Hope, with coffee, hot chocolate and light refreshments.
