The Hope Town Square is set to welcome rockin’ sleek rides and hot rods Friday evening as the First Friday’s Cruise-in to Hope returns at 5 p.m. Friday rain or shine.

Last month’s cruise-in welcomed a total of more than 75 cars and raised just over $1100 in donations for breasts cancer research, says Jason Eckart, Hope Town Manager.

“Overall, it was a fun event,” he says. “It started with a bit of rain, but it quickly passed, and the crowd seemed to really enjoy Dirty Laundry’s performance.”

This month’s event welcomes 3 Beards Strummin and proceeds go to the Community Center of Hope food bank, Eckart says.

A $10 cash registration donation is requested for each car entry, Eckart adds.

This event is made possible with collaboration from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, Elwood Staffing, Main Street of Hope, and Indiana Main Street.
