Organizers are looking forward to a huge crowd for Friday’s Cruise-in beginning at 5 p.m. on the Hope Town Square as absolutely beautiful weather is forecasted.
Proceeds from this month’s event will benefit the Student’s Fund of Hope, says Jason Eckart, Hope Town Manager.
“They will have a booth set up with information about their organization and will also be selling tickets for their upcoming Cash Cow Raffle,” he adds.
Additionally, the Hope Volunteer Fire Department will be selling hot dogs and drinks, Main Street of Hope will be set up in front of WILLow LeaVes of Hope selling food and other items, and the Shiver Shack will be selling delicious sno-cones to keep visitors cool. Visitors are also encouraged to visit the Ah-Ha Café during the event as they are also offering vouchers for free ice cream cones for the kids.
Paradise City Band, central Indiana’s classic rock cover band, will make its Cruise-in debut with some great rock and roll, Eckart says.
A $10 cash registration donation is requested for each car entry, Eckart adds.
This event is made possible with collaboration from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, Elwood Staffing, Main Street of Hope, and Indiana Main Street.
