Bruce D. Lienhoop, 71, of Columbus, passed from this life at 1:23 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2024, at The Belmont Health & Rehabilitation.
Mr. Lienhoop was born January 14, 1953, in Columbus, the son of Norman Gene and Wynona R. Woods Lienhoop.
He married Lisa A. Lynch December 4, 1992.
Bruce retired from Enkei America Inc. in 2018 after 26 years of service.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.
An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed camping and boating.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years; sons, Justin (Heather) Lienhoop of Columbus and Christopher (Anna) Taulman of Hope; grandchildren, Amiyah McKee and Lane Taulman and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Diane Duncan, Peg Shireman Cook and Jenny McDaniel and a granddaughter, Makenzie Brown.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Adam Carrigan officiating.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 9:00 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest at Bethel Baptist Cemetery with military honors provided by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
