Leslie Gordon Fillmore, 85, Hope

Leslie Gordon Fillmore, 85, of Hope, died at 5:10 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2024, at Willow Crossing.

Les was born February 22, 1939, in Murray, Utah, the son of Herbert Earl and Mary Almeda Davies Fillmore. He married Paula Faye Williams on February 19, 1994. She survives.

Les and his wife loved to travel. He was proud to have traveled in all 50 states and several countries. His favorite saying was, “Let’s Go.” Having lived in Branson, MO., for over 20 years, Les enjoyed anything concerning entertainment and shows. He worked at Champion Labs, International Harvester, and Freightliner during his career. A very active guy who loved living life and seeing this beautiful world, Les will be greatly missed by his loving family.

The funeral will be private with Tom Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Old Hall Cemetery located in Lewisville, TX., next to his first wife.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association through the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, children, Leslie Ann Jackson, Hope, IN., Michael Fillmore, Roanoke, TX., Chris Fillmore, of Headland, AL., and step-son, Jeffrey Pollard, Phoenix, AZ; 10 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Patricia Ann, and a daughter, Karen Michelle Kimpel.

Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
