Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration Returns to Town Square Friday 06/28

The Yellow Trail Museum’s Old Fashioned Independence Day celebration returns to the Hope Town Square from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday.

The evening’s festivities will include an array of activities and entertainment, including the crowning Miss and Mr. Firecracker, an apple pie contest, cake walk, and the presentation of the Heritage Days Grand Marshall award.

The newly crowned Miss and Mr. Firecracker will lead the parade of decorated bikes around the town Square.

Additionally, the Yellow Trail Museum will be open all evening with $1 ice cream floats, pony rides, face painting and more.

The winner of the Student’s Fund of Hope’s Cash Cow contest will also be announced.

Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
