Danny "Tom" Thomas Powers, 70, Columbus

Danny “Tom” Thomas Powers, 70, of Columbus passed from this life on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 9:40 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Powers was born on June 28, 1954, in Batesville, Indiana, the son of George Lee and Betty Elizabeth Wagner Powers.
He proudly served in the United States Army- 2 different tours and worked many years at NTN Driveshaft. Tom was a member of the Columbus Moose Lodge and the American Legion Post 24.
Survivors include his daughter, Laura (Tony) Sullivan of Hope; grandchildren, Aaron (Heather) Sullivan and Sarah Toddy; great grandchildren, Abigail Sullivan, Hannah Sullivan, Braeden Jacobs, Zander Toddy, and Willow Toddy; and a sister, Jeannie (Jerry) Abner.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with Mr. Powers’ wishes cremation will take place and there are no services scheduled at this time.
Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver and Glick Funeral Home.
