Game Report for Week 09/30: Volleyball and Tennis

Volleyball
@ North Decatur – The Volleyball Jets traveled to North Decatur on Tuesday night to face an MHC foe. The Jets were defeated in 3 sets at the JV level and 3 sets at the varsity level. The Jets will host Greensburg on Wednesday with volleyball starting at 6 p.m.

v. Greensburg – The Jets hosted a good Greensburg team on Wednesday for a non-conference match. Hauser was defeated and will host Rushville on Thursday for Senior Night. The Jets will honor senior Maley Jordan and Baylee Riley following the JV match. Volleyball will start at 6 p.m.

v. Rushville – The Hauser JV and Varsity Volleyball Team hosted Rushville on Thursday night for senior night. Maley Jordan and Baylee Riley were honored between games and the Jets lost a tough 3 set JV match and was defeated in 3 sets at the varsity level. The Volleyball program also honored long time head coach Jeff Case. Coach Case accumulated a match record o 557-188. His MHC Record was 146-17 with 12 Conference Championships. He recorded 13 Sectional Championships and 6 Regional titles. Coach Case has a Semi-State Championship and a State Finals Runner-Up to finish out his amazing accolades. Current head coach and daughter of Coach Case had this to say…..

@ Columbus North v. Columbus East Sectional – The Hauser Jets defeated Columbus East in the first round of sectional 4-1. #2 singles Kameron Blair defeated Owen Kirk 6-0, 6-3. #3 singles Colten Hatton beat Michael Reed 6-2, 6-0. #1 doubles Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel beat Micah Wettschurack and Trevor Ernst 6-1, 6-1. #2 doubles Jayden Blair and RJ Foster defeated Jonas Newell and Carson Hartsook 6-0, 6-1. #1 singles Hunter Pappano fell to Tyler Ernst 4-6, 1-6.

The Jets are back in action in the sectional semi-finals Thursday at 4:30 p.m. against Edinburgh.

@ Columbus North v. Edinburgh Sectional Semi-Finals – Hauser played Edinburgh in the sectional semi-finals on Thursday evening, winning 5-0. The Jets advance to the sectional finals tomorrow against Columbus North. #1 singles Hunter Pappano defeated Bailey Totten 7-5, 6-0. #2 singles Kameron Blair defeated Matthew Burton 6-0, 6-1. #3 singles Colten Hatton beat Braden Cox 6-1, 6-0. #1 doubles Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel beat Rylan Londeree and Braylon Lenkner 6-0, 6-2. #2 doubles Jayden Blair and RJ Foster beat Brinnyn Moss and Jayson Music 6-2, 6-1. The Jets will face Columbus North on

Friday with Tennis starting at 4:30 p.m.

@ Columbus North v. Columbus North Sectional Finals – Hauser fell to Columbus North on Friday night in the sectional finals 5-0. The Jets finish the season 12-8. #1 singles Hunter Pappano fell to Hank Lin 0-6, 0-6. #2 singles Kameron Blair fell to Parth Shah 0-6, 0-6. #3 singles Colten Hatton lost to Teddy Littrell 0-6, 0-6. #1 doubles Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel lost to Vincent Sasse and Yoki Murabayashi 0-6, 3-6. #2 doubles Jayden Blair and RJ Foster fell to Shashwat Sabapathy and Michael Crossman 0-6, 0-6.
