Henry "Ed" Hollman, 82, Hope

Henry “Ed” Hollman, 82, of Hope, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 8:39 p.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor-Hope.

Mr. Hollman was born on November 23, 1941, in Bartholomew County, the son of William and Edith Sprague Hollman.

Mr. Hollman started at a young age working in the auto body repair industry and enjoyed working at various auto body repair shops. In this industry he was always well known for his excellent work. Ed enjoyed the outdoors, farming, and also collecting and working on old tractors.

Survivors include his sons, Scott (Janel) Hollman of Hope and Duane (Carrie) Hollman of Milan; grandchildren, Amanda Hollman, Bret (Ashleh) Hollman, Ryan Hollman, Chase (Emma) Hollman, Tyler Hollman, Keegan Michael, Taylor Michelle, Shelbie Lynn, Branson Layne, Abigail Grace; several great grandchildren; siblings, Roy Hollman, Bessie Hollman, Dorothy Moffitt; and lifelong friend, Bob (Pam) Tempest. Mr. Hollman also helped raise Brent McKinney of Hope, Krista (Steve) Tunny of Osgood, and Kindra Parrish of Oblong, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brandon Hollman; and siblings, Charles Hollman, Kenneth Hollman, Betty Hollman, Opal Reece, Ralph Hollman, Anna Ault, Gladys Reece.

In keeping with Mr. Hollman’s wishes cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Burial will take place at a later date at Ohio Chapel Cemetery.

Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
