Game Report for Week 10/14: Volleyball and Cross Country

Volleyball
@ Trinity Lutheran v. Trinity Lutheran – The Volleyball Team was defeated by Trinity Lutheran in Sectional 60 action on Saturday afternoon. The Jets ended the season and would like to thank all parents, staff, and students for all the support this year.

B/G Cross Country
@ Sectional – The high school cross country squad fell short of team advancement at Saturday’s Brown County Sectional but will send four individual qualifiers on to the Regional meet this Saturday. Junior Nolan Dailey battled among the top ten for the entire race, placing 7th with a time of 16:08. Koleson Gernentz took 33rd with a time of 17:55, Max Moore ran 18:17 to finish 42nd, Mason Moore was 46th with a time of 18:29, Braydon McFarland came in 51st with a time of 18:38, Grady Niccum took 62 nd with a time of 19:22, and Mason Johnson placed 71st with a time of 20:47.

Dailey, Gernentz, Max Moore, McFarland, and Niccum all set personal records during the race. Dailey’s time is now second-fastest in Hauser program history, while Moore’s new PR moves him up to the 17th spot on the freshman boys list.

Dailey, Gernentz, and Max and Mason Moore earned individual qualifying sports and will compete in this coming Saturday’s Evansville Mater Dei Regional at Angel Mounds.
