Though its storefront may have fallen dark this past week, WILLow LeaVes of Hope is set to reopen with a joyful abundance of holiday cheer for its annual Christmas Open House beginning 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The family-owned store, located at 326 Jackson St. in downtown Hope, will be offering a variety of specials and delicious Chicken & Noodle dinner all weekend.
Shoppers can look forward to hourly door prize drawings – you must be present to win – and 10% off all store merchandise.
“New this year we’ve got a small section of a farmer’s market/general store area,” says Vickie Tedder, co-owner of WILLow LeaVes of Hope. “It has dehydrated and freeze-dried items and handmade items and all are made by local producers and artisans.”
In addition to an array of unique holiday décor, scented candles, and Christmas gifts that are sure to make the hardest-to-shop-for individual smile, this year’s inventory includes handmade, vintage, and repurposed items that complement nearly every personality and style and offer a touch of charm only found in this Surprising Little Town.
While enjoying the holiday atmosphere, visitors and shoppers are encouraged to stop by the Coffee Bar for a cup of specialty java to fuel their trip, Tedder says. Offerings of holiday flavors and straight-up bold (or unleaded) iced and hot coffees will be available for purchase.
“We thoroughly love this time of year,” Tedder says and adds that she and the staff look forward to seeing everyone for this year’s Christmas Open House 2024.
