Game Report for Week 08/25: Volleyball and Tennis

Volleyball
v. South Ripley -- The Lady Jet Volleyball team hosted South Ripley on Tuesday night and was defeated 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-17). The Jets are now 3-8 on the season. Charleston Gelfius led the team with 6 kills 2 aces, and 2 blocks. Madaline Wilmer recorded 10 assist and Kaidenze Shoaf had 4 digs. The team will travel to Indy Lutheran on Thursday with volleyball starting at 6 p.m.
@ Indy Lutheran -- The Volleyball Team traveled to Indy Lutheran on Thursday night and was defeated in three sets. Kaidenze Shoaf had 2 aces to lead the team and had 2 kills. The Jets were led in the hitting category by Maley Jordan with 5 kills and Jordan led the team with 8 digs. Setter Madaline Wilmer had 6 assist, and Charleston Gelfius had a block. The Jets will host Columbus North on Wednesday with volleyball starting at 6 p.m.
Boys Tennis
@ Milan -- The Hauser boys tennis team traveled to Milan on Monday night and came home with a win 5-0. #1 singles Hunter Pappano defeated Jeremy Jackson 6-4, 6-1. #2 singles Kameron Blair beat Mason May 6-1, 6-1. #3 singles Colten Hatton beat Logan Bruns 6-0, 6-0. #1 doubles Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel defeated Ben Miller and Langston Huneke 6-1, 6-0. #2 doubles Jayden Blair and RJ Foster beat Dylan Pindell and Wyatt Phelps 6-1, 6-3. The boys moved to 3-1 on the year and extended its winning streak to three matches. In JV action Grayson Kilps won his singles match 8-6, and Rylan Sessions won his 6-3. Brady Miller and Jacob Bell won their doubles match 6-3. Colin Bruner and Aiden Reel lost their doubles match 3-6. Jackson Bell was down 3-4 in his singles match when it was called for the darkness. The boys will host Eastern Hancock on Thursday starting at 5:30 p.m.
v. Eastern Hancock -- The Jets hosted Eastern Hancock on Thursday night and was defeated 5-0. The boys are now 3-2 on the year and will travel to Southwestern on Tuesday. #1 singles Hunter Pappano fell to Luke Zeilinga 2-6, 0-6. #2 singles Kameron Blair lost to Luke Schilling 2-6, 1-6. #3 singles Colten Hatton lost to Josiah Swamger 1-6, 1-6. #1 doubles Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel lost to Myles Winnon and Luke Fletcher 1-6, 2-6. #2 doubles Jayden Blair and RJ Foster fell to Bo Dixon and Jalen Hildebrand 1-6, 0-6.
In JV action, Graydon Kilps came out with a single win 6-4. In the other singles matches, Jacob Bell went 1-8, Rylan Sessions 3-7, Aiden Reel 2-8, Grayson Gomez 0-6. JV doubles Graydon Kilps and Brady Miller fell 0-8, Ben Wiwi and Curtis Kilps 0-8, and Colin Bruner and Jackson Bell went 3-8.
