Hope’s favorite monthly car show returns to the Town Square Friday evening as the final First Friday’s Cruise-in to Hope of the 2024 season begins at 5 p.m. with local band favorite Caddo Parish performing.
Last month’s show was a resounding success despite the threat of adverse weather, says Hope Town Manager Jason Eckart.
Though just shy of 50 cars participated, the event raised $750 for the Community Center of Hope food pantry, Eckart says.
Proceeds from this month’s event will go to benefit the Hope Volunteer Fire Department and the Hope/Hawcreek Ministerial Association.
A $10 cash registration donation is requested for each car entry, Eckart says.
As a reminder, the last cruise-in event of the year will be held at Miller’s Merry Manor at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 5 and include a pancake breakfast and live music.
These cruise-in events are made possible with collaboration from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, Elwood Staffing, Main Street of Hope, and Indiana Main Street.
