Maximus Gregory McPike, 10 months, Whitestown

Maximus Gregory McPike, (10 Months) of Whitestown passed away on Saturday, August 31 at Riley Children’s Hospital.

Born on October 18, 2023, at Riley, he was the son of Lauren and Sean McPike.

Survivors include his parents, Lauren and Sean McPike of Whitestown; Grandfather Scott McPike of Bedford; aunt and uncle, Ian and Darlene McPike of Brownsburg; Grandparents Spencer and Kristine Gross of Columbus; aunt and uncle, Karson and Kiersten Nixon of Franklin and aunt and uncle Alex and Karina Gross of Sibiu, Romania and cousins, Major and Victor Nixon of Franklin.

Max was a sweet natured boy who loved his toy mobile, mirror and pacifier. He had a contagious smile and loved interacting with all the nurses and those who came to visit him. While his time here on earth was short, his life impacted many family, friends and staff at Riley Children’s Hospital.

A visitation hour followed by a memorial service will be held at Community Church of Columbus (3850 N Marr Rd, Columbus, IN 47203) on Saturday, September 14 from 10 - 11:30 a.m.. Arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
