Boys and Girls Cross Country
@ Ray Gerkin Invitational hosted by Jennings County – The Boys Varsity Cross Country squad placed 6th at the Ray Gerkin Invite in Jennings County on Saturday morning. Nolan Dailey led the Jets with 5th place finish in a time of 16:52. Also running for the Jets: 33 Moore 18:57, 36 Gernentz 18:59, 38 McFarland 19:10, 49 Niccum 19:43, 69 Eugene 21:23, 77 Johnson 22:25, and 82 Christian 23:21. The Jets gear up for a big week as they travel to the Great Pumpkin Invite on Thursday and host the 40th Annual Hope Heritage Days Meet on Saturday morning.

High School Boys Take Sixth at Jennings County 
The varsity boys team took 6th place at the Jenning County's Ray Gerkin Invitational on Saturday.

Nolan Dailey led the Jets with 5th place in a time of 16:51.93 on the Muscatatuck Park course.

Mason Moore (18:56.47) was 33rd, Koleson Gernentz (18:58.85) was 36th, Braydon McFarland (19:09.52) was 38th, and Grady Niccum (19:42.62) was 49th. Also running for the Jets were Philippe Eugene (21:22.60) in 69th, Mason Johnson (22:24.79) in 77th, and Lukas Christian (23:20.70) in 82nd.

Mid-Week Invites
After a week off, the junior high team will be back in action at Charger Invite at Ceraland on Tuesday, hosted by Columbus Central, while the high school squad will travel to Versailles on Thursday for South Ripley's Great Pumpkin Invitational.

Heritage Days Classic This Saturday
Saturday will be the fortieth running of the Hope Heritage Days Cross Country Classic.

Middle school girls and boys will run at 9 and 9:30, followed by the high school girls and boys races at 10 and 10:45.

The awards presentation, including a recognition ceremony for senior Lukas Christian, will take place at the bandstand at 11:30.

Girls Soccer
v. Madison – The Girls Soccer Team was defeated by a good Madison team on Monday night. The Jets will host Indy Lutheran on Tuesday.

v. Indy Lutheran – The Girls Soccer Team welcomed Indy Lutheran to the pitch on Tuesday. The Jets jumped out to a 2-0 lead and dominated the first half. The Saints responded in the second half with 2 goals to intensify the game. A Jets late goal was wiped off due to a hand ball penalty, and Indy Lutheran found the back of the net on a break-a-way shot late in the game. The Jets rallied back to score a very late goal and ended the game in a 3-3 tie. This was the fourth tie of the season for the Jets and they are still looking for that elusive first win. Hauser will travel to Columbus East on Thursday.

@ Columbus East – The Girls Soccer Team traveled to Columbus East on Thursday night. The team played on the Olympians side of the field most of the night but couldn’t recover from two early goals losing 2- 0 in a great battle. Hauser will host Austin on Tuesday with soccer starting at 5:30 p.m.

Boys Soccer
@ GCA – The Boys Soccer Team traveled to #3 GCA on Monday playing shorthanded due to team sickness. The Jets battled to a 0-0 tie for about the first 50 minutes of the match, but unfortunately the gas ran out on the Jets upset bid. Costly penalties in the last 30 minutes of the match resulted in a 5-0 loss. The Jets are now 4-4-2 on the year and will travel to Greensburg on Tuesday. Luke Bruner played an amazing first half and finished the game with 23 saves. Layton Jordan was named The Man of the Match.

@ Greensburg – The Boys Soccer Team traveled to Greensburg on Tuesday night on a very quick turnaround from Monday night. Ethan House scored a goal and the Jets were defeated moving their record to 4-5-2 on the year. Luke Bruner collected 4 saves and Tony Telez came in and collected 11 saves. The Jets will travel to MHC rival Southwestern on Friday night.

@ Southwestern Shelby – The Boys Soccer Team traveled to Southwestern on Friday night for some Friday Night Lights Soccer style. The Jets are battling injuries but competed very hard falling 5-1 in a tough battle. Ethan House scored the lone goal for the Jets and Peyton Bennett was in goal for the Jets. The

Jets will travel to Morristown on Tuesday and Knightstown on Thursday.

Girls Golf
v. Brown County – The Girls Golf Team hosted Brown County at Clifty Creek on Tuesday night. The team was led by Cheyanne Moody 59. Beckah Sessions shot a 62, Abigayle Trotter fired a 67, and Lydia Taylor shot a 72 to round out the scoring for the Jets. The Jets will travel to the MHC meet on Saturday and Sectional play starts Monday.
