Game Report for Week 09/23: Volleyball and Tennis

Volleyball
v. Waldron – The Volleyball Team hosted MHC foe Waldron on a rare Monday night and won in 4 sets. The Jets picked up and MHC win and a much-needed win at home to snap and losing streak. The Jets turn around quickly and travel to MHC foe Southwestern on Tuesday with volleyball starting at 6 p.m.
@ Southwestern – The Volleyball Team was defeated by the Spartans after a great Monday win. The Jets will travel to Trinity Lutheran on Thursday and host the Heritage Days Classic on Saturday.
@ Trinity Lutheran – The Volleyball Team was defeated by a good Trinity Lutheran team on Thursday night. In very competitive sets the Jets were defeated in 3 sets. Hauser will host the 5th Annual Heritage Days Classic on Saturday with volleyball starting at 9 a.m.
v. 5 th Annual Heritage Days Classic – The varsity Volleyball Team hosted the 5th Annual Heritage Days Classis with ten teams on Saturday. The Jets competed in pool play going 0-4. The Jets will travel to North Decatur on Tuesday with volleyball starting at 5:30 p.m.
Boys Tennis
v. Knightstown – The Jets hosted Knightstown on Tuesday night and won 4-0. The #2 singles were not completed due to weather, so it was not scored and marked incomplete. #1 singles Kameron Blair defeated Isaac Livesay 6-1, 6-0. #3 singles went to Hauser due to forfeit. #1 doubles Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel defeated Grey Williams and Jacob Spect 6-0, 6-0. #2 doubles Jayden Blair and Hunter Pappano beat Landon Gallion and François Plot 6-0, 6-0. The Jets moved to 9-7 on the year and will host Oldenburg Academy on Wednesday Night starting at 5:30 p.m.
v. Oldenburg Academy – Hauser played Oldenburg at home on Wednesday night and won 3-2. The Jets are now 10-7 on the year. #2 singles Kameron Blair defeated Jacob Stenger 6-1, 6-0. #1 doubles Jentzen Bechtel and Joel Bechtel beat Zach Phillips and Grant Rostenberger 6-1, 6-0. #2 doubles Jayden Blair and RJ Foster best Carson Ruter and Grant Wanstrath 6-0, 6-0. #1 singles Hunter Pappano fell to Clay Eckstein 4-6, 6-4, 10-12. #3 singles Colten Hatton lost to Grant Goldsmith 2-6, 6-7 (2-7). The Jets will host Indy Lutheran on Tuesday October 1st with tennis starting at 4:30 p.m.
