Tony Bruce McIntyre, 67, of Hope, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at Otterbein Health Care Facility in Franklin.
Born August 19, 1957 in Columbus he was the son of Everett and Phyllis Galbraith McIntyre. He married Cindy Gardner October 1, 1977.
Tony was employed as a tooling technician at NTN Driveshaft.
He was a member of Rugby United Brethren Church.
He loved flying his airplane with his father and brother, Everett. He enjoyed reading Guideposts books. He loved spending time with his family and especially attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was good at fixing things.
Tony is survived by his wife, Cindy McIntyre of Hope; children, Brandon (Sydney) McIntyre of North Vernon and Lindsey (Kyle) Wampler of Hope; grandchildren, Owen McIntyre and Reed McIntyre, both of North Vernon and Emma Holcomb of Hope; brother, Tracy (Darlene) McIntyre of Columbus.
A public visitation to celebrate Tony’s life will be Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. There will be a private burial at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Rugby United Brethren Church.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Everett Dale McIntyre.
