The Hauser Deck the Halls Student Art Show and Art & Crafts Market will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, December 6.
Visitors and shoppers can enter Door #7 (Main Front Office Door) at Hauser Jr-Sr High School and peruse the halls and auditorium, which will be filled with 57 different vendors. The mid-year student art show will also be on display in the Art Room, and Hauser art students have been working hard this semester on the projects they will be sharing with visitors. In addition to high school artists, the Ivy Tech Visual Communications Department will be hosting a booth featuring their students' art work.
The art & craft market includes paintings, photography, greeting cards, clothing, jewelry, fashion accessories, holiday and home decor, candles, personal care products, crocheting, knitting, 3D printed toys, quilts, blankets, woodworking, and yard art. So many unique and one-of-a-kind handmade items that would make excellent holiday gifts!
As a fundraiser for the FRHC Replay, the organization will be offering lunch in the high school auditorium, featuring pulled pork sandwiches, brats, all beef hot dogs, and sides. The Hauser Yearbook will be selling dirty sodas and the Jr. High Cheerleaders will have a popcorn booth. In addition, we also have the Blue Elephant Home Roaster selling fresh coffee, several bakery vendors offering a variety of treats, as well as local honey!
This event is free for visitors to attend and proceeds from vendor booth fees directly benefit the Hauser Art Department. To see vendor spotlights and a sampling of items they will be selling, visitors can visit the Deck the Halls Facebook page at www.facebook.com/HauserDeckTheHalls.
