Varsity vs. South Ripley
In front of a great Home crowd on Friday night, the Jets hosted South Ripley and came away with a 71-55 victory. The win marked the first time in the past 4 years that Hauser has defeated South Ripley in the regular season. It was a total team effort on both ends of the floor, as the Jets racked up 25 assists offensively, and defensively held the Raiders to only a 39% shooting mark from the field. Hauser dominated the game inside, scoring 46 points in the paint on the night.
The win moves the Varsity record to 4-1 on the season, with an MHC rivalry matchup at Edinburgh this Friday on deck.

The JV Jets picked up another victory on Friday, defeating South Ripley 46-42. The win moves the JV record to 4-1 on the season.

Lady Jets Suffer Tough Loss, Move to 8–2
The Lady Jets battled hard but came up short in a 37–43 loss, moving their record to 8–2 on the season.
Despite the setback, the Lady Jets showed determination and fight throughout the game. Kennedy Konradi led the scoring with 14 points, providing consistent offense and leadership. Braelyn Williams followed with 8 points, while June Berkenstock added 7. Abby Manley contributed 3 points, and Chloie Phelps finished with 2 as the team worked to keep pace in a competitive matchup.

Late Rally Falls Short as Lady Jets Drop Close Contest
The Lady Jets came up just short in a hard-fought 47–51 loss, moving their record to 8–3 on the season.
After taking a two-point lead into halftime, the Jets ran into trouble in the third quarter, where they were outscored 16–9. Despite the setback, the Lady Jets showed resilience, mounting a strong comeback effort late in the game. They created several good looks near the rim in the closing moments but were unable to convert on key finishes.
Offensively, June Berkenstock and Braelyn Williams led the way with 11 points each. Abby Manley added 8 points, while Kennedy Konradi scored 5. Nevaeh Paetzel contributed 4 points, Chloie Phelps had 3, and Leah Manley rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
Though the outcome didn’t go their way, the Lady Jets’ effort and determination were evident as they continue their season.
7th / 8th Grade Boys’ Basketball

Strong Performances Push 7th and 8th Grade Boys to 7–1 Record
In the 7th-grade game, the team dominated from start to finish, earning a convincing 45–9 victory. Balanced scoring and strong defense were the keys to success. Paxton led the way with 12 points, followed by Burton with 8 and King with 6. Downey, Dickerson, and Stark each added 4 points, while Dicks contributed 3. Budd and Harrison rounded out the scoring with 2 points apiece. The team’s defensive effort limited the opponent to single digits, showcasing great teamwork and intensity.
The 8th-grade game proved to be a much tougher battle, going into overtime before the team secured a thrilling 48–44 win. Blankinship had a standout performance, leading all scorers with 19 points. Leonard and Hege each chipped in 9 points, while Brown added 6. Barriger contributed 5 points, helping push the team through a competitive overtime period to seal the victory.

7th Grade Rolls, 8th Grade Falls in Tough Matchup
The 7th-grade team put together another dominant performance, cruising to a 43–9 victory to improve its record to 8–1. A balanced scoring attack and strong defensive pressure kept the opponent in check throughout the game. Paxton led the scoring with 7 points, while Stark, Burton, and Dickerson each added 5. Gelfius, Moore, King, and Downey chipped in 4 points apiece, and Thayer scored 3. Dicks rounded out the scoring with 2 points as the team continued its impressive run this season.
The 8th-grade team battled hard but came up short in a 43–35 loss, dropping its record to 7–2. Leonard paced the offense with 13 points, followed by Blankinship with 9. Brown contributed 6 points, and Hege added 5. Wiwi, Barriger, Noble, and Hamilton each scored 2 points, as the team fought throughout the contest but was unable to close the gap late.

Late Rally Falls Short as Jets Drop Heartbreaker
The 8th-grade Jets came up just short in a tough 38–37 loss, moving their record to 7–3 in a game that went down to the final seconds.
Trailing by eight points with 1:30 remaining, the Jets turned up the pressure on defense, forcing turnovers and converting key baskets to claw their way back into the game. The aggressive defense cut the deficit to just one point with 30 seconds left, giving the Jets multiple opportunities to take the lead in the closing moments. Despite several good looks late, the Jets were unable to connect, and the comeback attempt fell just short.
Leonard led the Jets offensively with 15 points, while Blankinship added 9 points. Brown chipped in 6, and Wiwi scored 4 points. Hege finished with 2 points, and Barriger also contributed in a hard-fought effort.
Though the result didn’t go their way, the Jets showed resilience, hustle, and determination, nearly pulling off an impressive late comeback as they continue their season.
