Delois Irene Lobdell Pitman, 77, Hope

Delois Irene Lobdell Pitman, 77, of Hope, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at her home.
Born on March 5, 1947 in Hazard, Kentucky, Lois was the daughter of Eugene and Geneva Brewer.
Lois retired from Cosco. After retirement, she worked at various places in Hope including Huck’s, Dollar General, Heritage House, and Hope Food Mart.
Lois enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She loved her dogs and all other animals.
Survivors include children, Penny (Steven) Kearney of North Fort Myers, FL and Teresa (David, Jr.) Rollings of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Joshua (Natasha) Kearney of Rushville, Jamison Kearney of North Fort Myers, FL, Kayla Kearney of Greensburg, Richard (Brittany) Lobdell III of Columbus; and Jessica Rollings of Indianapolis; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Morrow of Greensburg.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Philip Brewer and Caleb Brewer; and son, Richard Lobdell, Jr.
Following Lois’s wishes, cremation is planned. A Celebration of Life for Lois will be held on Tuesday, February 18 at 5 p.m. at Hope Masonic Lodge 150 9380 N. SR 9 Hope, IN 47246.
