Dr. Bria Scott, 34, Columbus

By Barkes, Weaver & Glick

On July 6, 2025, Dr. Bria Scott was fully restored in Christ.

Bria was a devoted mother, loving wife and dedicated dentist whose gentle care touched the lives of countless family, friends and patients. Beyond, her faith was the cornerstone of her life – guiding her with grace, strength and compassion.

She poured her heart into her family, her work and her community. Her genuineness, integrity and unshakeable faith left a lasting impression on everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. Her time with us is cut short, but Jesus is not surprised, and was ready to call her Home. Her legacy of love, wearing her heart on her (dental coat) sleeve, wrapped tightly in robes, quick wit, inside jokes, helping hands and Taylor Swift lyrics will Long Live.

Bria is survived by her husband, Chris, three beautiful daughters – Perrie (7), Parker (4) and Piper (2); her sister, Hayli and her husband, Quintin, and daughter, Haddyn and soon to be son, Callan; and her parents, Chuck and Lori Goode – as well as an entire community of beloved friends, patients and vast, tight community.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Terrace Lake Church with Carey Edgren officiating.

Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025, and 10 a.m. to time of service Saturday.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Terrace Lake Church.

Arrangements by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
