Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field
@ Batesville – Canceled
@ Rushville – The boys’ and girls’ varsity track team placed third to Richmond and Rushville on Thursday. Nolan Dailey won the 1600 with a time of 5:01.6 and took second in the 3200, while Luke Bruner won discus with a throw of 129′ 3″. Addyson Russell led the Lady Jets with a win in long jump (15′ 11″) and runner-up finishes in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Peyton Norris had personal bests in both throwing events, taking second in discus (73′ 1″) and third in shot put (27′ 7″).
Baseball
v. Rising Sun – Canceled
v. Southwestern / @ Southwestern – The Baseball Jets hosted Southwestern on Wednesday and traveled to Southwestern on Friday for MHC play. The Jets defeated Southwestern on Wednesday 15-1 with Wasil pitching a 3-hitter striking out 10 and only walking 2. He also produced 3 hits and 2 runs. Foster, Blair, and Lambert all produced multiple hits in the win. The Jets defeated Southwestern on Friday with Gill going the distance on the mound striking out 10, scattering 5 hits and not giving up a run or a walk. Hunter produced multiple hits and scored two runs for the Jets. K. Blair also scored two runs in the win. The Jets moved to 8-0 in MHC play.
Softball
v. North Decatur – The Softball team defeated North Decatur on Monday to stay undefeated in MHC play. Hartwell picked up the pitching win while the offense produced 15 runs. The Jets will host Rising Sun on Thursday.

Girls’ Tennis
@ Madison – The Girls’ Tennis Team traveled to Madison on a very nice Monday night to face the Cubs. The Jets were defeated 5-0, but battle throughout the line-up. Ruby McKinney at one singles battled to a 4-6, 6-7 loss, while Isabella Price at two singles lost in a good match 4-6, 5-7. The two doubles team of Maley Jordan and June Berkenstock lost a very good match 6-7 in set one and won set two 6-4, but lost the ten-point tie breaker. Charleston Gelifus and Olivia Harris picked up a JV doubles win, along with Hayden Hedrick and Hope Bailey at JV doubles. Charleston also picked up a JV singles win. The Jets will travel to Trinity Lutheran on Thursday.
@ Edinburgh – The Lady Jets completed a match with Edinburgh on Wednesday night and won 4-1. Isabella Price won 6-0, 6-2 at number two singles. Kaydenze Brock won at number three singles 6-0, 6- 2. Both doubles teams won and Madaline Wilmer won her JV match.
@ Trinity Lutheran – The Lady Jets traveled to Trinity Lutheran on Thursday for another soggy match. Hauser was defeated 3-2 in a great match. Kaydenze Brock won at three singles 6-3, 6-2. The two doubles team of Maley Jordan and June Berkenstock won 6-1, 2-6, 6-4. Madaline Wilmer, Olivia Harris, and Hope Bailey all picked up JV single wins for the Jets.
Girls’ Jr. High Tennis
v. Triton Central – The Junior high girls’ tennis opened May with a win against Triton Central, 4-1, and moved to 4-0 for the season. Sophie Crabtree won 8-0 at 1 singles, Hayden Dickey won 8-3 at 2 singles and Lylah Konradi won 6-1 (TC player retired with injury) at 3 singles. Stella Berkenstock and Riley Diewert came back from being down early to win 8-4. 2 doubles team of Lilly Galloway/ Emma Long played a competitive match but were defeated 1-8. The girls will host Madison on Monday, May 5.
Boys’ Golf
@ Morristown – The Golf team traveled to Morristown on Thursday and won 191-199. Hunter Pappano shot a 41 while, Brenden Burton shot a 43. Marshall Moody fired a 56, and Colten Hatton shot a 55, and Nathan Linke shot a 52 to round out the scoring for the Jets.
@ Trinity Lutheran Invite – The Golf team participated in the Trinity Lutheran Invite on Saturday, where Hunter Pappano shot an 18-hole score of 76. This was good enough to be named the Runner-Up in the event. The team shot a 384, with Brendon Burton shooting at 98, Marshall Moody a 102, Colten Hatton a 108, and Nathan Linke a 117 to round out the scoring for the Jets.
Corbin Beverly Signs with Ozark Christian College
Senior Soccer player Corbin Beverly will continue his academic and athletic career at Ozark Christian College next year. Corbin completed his signing process on Tuesday in the Hauser Auditorium with coaches, family, friends, and teammates. Congrats Corbin!
IHSAA 2nd Mandatory Moratorium Week:
Beginning 2025-26 school year, each member school shall also designate five additional separate weekdays in which there shall be no contact between athletes, coaches, and no athletic activities, including conditioning, conducted.
