Hey, Hope… In case you haven’t heard, there’s a comedic "Hostile Takeover" taking place on the stage at WILLow LeaVes of Hope, located at 326 Jackson St. in downtown Hope.

There’s still time to get tickets.

Written by local playwright and actor Jason Bowser and presented by Actor’s Studio on Stage in collaboration with WILLow LeaVes of Hope, this nearly two-hour long production – including intermission – offers a hilarious take on what happens when one’s lifelong career passion gets cast aside in the name of profit margins.

Meet Bernadine. A devoted employee whose company she’s dedicated her career to has sold.  Meet Ian, the company’s buyer. Produced by Naomi Fleetwood-Pyle and directed by Bowser and Pyle, what follows is a comedy of errors when Bernadine and her friend and coworker, Miram, take on Ian in an effort to prevent his hostile takeover.

Tickets are $40 per person and includes dinner, drink, dessert and show.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 (Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; Dinner at 6 p.m.)

For tickets, call 812-341-7251.
