Dailey Represents at Cross Country State Finals
Nolan Dailey wrapped up a stellar senior season at the IHSAA Cross Country State Finals at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, finishing 121st with a time of 16:31 in his second straight appearance at the state meet. Dailey is Hauser’s second-ever cross country state finalist, following Todd Meier’s 1982 appearance.

Girls’ Basketball
v. Edinburgh – Girls Basketball Falls to Edinburgh in Hard-Fought Battle, 46–51
The girls’ basketball team put up a strong fight Friday night but came up just short against Edinburgh, falling 46–51 in a closely contested matchup.
Abby Manley led the team in scoring with 13 points, followed closely by Braelyn Williams with 12 points. June Berkenstock made a major impact on both ends of the court, contributing 9 points and pulling down an impressive 16 rebounds.
Kennedy Konradi added 4 points and tallied 4 steals, showcasing her defensive presence. Hayden Dickey and Leah Manley each chipped in 3 points, while Nevaeh Paetzel scored 2 points to round out the team effort.
Despite the loss, the team showed determination and teamwork throughout the game. They’ll look to bounce back in their next matchup as they continue to build momentum this season.
v. Mooresville Christian – Hauser Girls Basketball Earns 54–46 Win Over Mooresville Christian
The Hauser girls’ basketball team picked up a solid 54–46 victory over Mooresville Christian on Saturday night, showcasing a balanced offensive attack and strong team defense.
June Berkenstock led the Jets with a dominant performance, scoring 21 points to pace the offense. Abby Manley added 9 points and dished out 3 assists, while Braelyn Williams contributed 8 points.
Hayden Dickey provided a strong presence inside with 5 points and 6 rebounds, and Kennedy Konradi filled the stat sheet with 4 points, 3 steals, and 3 assists. Chloie Phelps and Ava Dempsey each added 3 points, and Nevaeh Paetzel rounded out the scoring with 1 point.
The Jets’ teamwork and balanced scoring helped them maintain control throughout the game as they continue to build momentum early in the season.
7th / 8th Grade Boys’ Basketball
v. St. Peter’s – Hauser 7th Grade Jets Edge St. Peter’s 38–33 for Hard-Fought Victory
The Hauser 7th Grade Jets battled their way to a 38–33 road win over St. Peter’s on Tuesday night, capping off a strong performance on both ends of the floor.
Hauser jumped out to an 8–6 lead after the first quarter and extended the margin to 19–11 by halftime thanks to balanced scoring and tough defense. St. Peter’s made a late push, cutting into the lead in the fourth, but the Jets held firm to secure the five-point victory.
Paxton Inabnit led Hauser with 18 points, while Gavin King had 8 points. Charlie Harrison and Graham Dickerson each scored 5 points, and Nash Burton rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
The win improved Hauser’s record to 1–0 on the season and the Jets will travel to Shawe Memorial on Wednesday.
Hauser 8th Grade Falls in Overtime Thriller to St. Peter’s, 41–39
The Hauser 8th Grade Jets came up just short in an overtime battle Tuesday night, falling 41–39 to St. Peter’s in Columbus.
After trailing 10–7 at the end of the first quarter, the Jets found their rhythm behind strong offensive play from Noah Blankinship and Wyatt Leonard. Hauser rallied to outscore St. Peter’s 25–17 in the middle quarters, taking a slim lead into the fourth.
St. Peter’s clawed back to tie the game late, forcing overtime. Despite a hard-fought extra period, the Jets couldn’t quite close it out.
Blankinship led all Hauser scorers with 16 points, while Leonard added 14. Kaleb Brown chipped in 4 points, Ryan Barriger 3 and Brody Hege finished with 2.
The Jets showed grit throughout the contest and will look to bounce back in their next matchup Wednesday at Shawe Memorial.
