@ Waldron – Jets downed by Waldron
The Lady Jets traveled to Waldron for an MHC battle on Monday Night. The Jets lost in four 20-25, 22-25, 25-14, and 23-25.
Kaysie, Hayden, and Kaidenze led the offense with 2 aces each. Kaidenze recorded 12 kills, while Hayden added 11 kills. Leah controlled the offense with 31 assists.
Defensively the Jets were led by Charleston 4 double blocks and 1 solo block. Kaidenze added 2 double blocks and a 1 solo block. Hayden had 32 digs from the back line. The Jets will host Southwestern on Tuesday in another important MHC match.
v. Southwestern – Hauser hosted another MHC opponent in Southwestern on Tuesday in a very quick turnaround.
The Jets picked up a big win winning 25-17, 25-15, and 25-20. The Jets moved to 2-2 in MHC play.
Charleston led the offense from the serving line recording 3 aces, while Kaysie and Hayden both picked up 2. Kaidenze led the way with 8 kills, Charleston with 7, and Peyton recorded 4. Leah again directed the offense with 22 assists.
Charleston also recorded 4 blocks and Hayden had 10 digs. Leah and Charleston both had 9 digs to help the defense slow Southwestern.
The Jets will host Trinity Lutheran on Thursday for their Coaches vs. Cancer Game starting at 6 p.m.
v. Trinity Lutheran – Hauser hosted a really good team in Trinity Lutheran on Coaches vs. Cancer Night. The Jets were defeated in three sets 8-25, 13-25, and 12-25. From the service line Kaysie and Leah both recorded two aces. Regan led the way with six kills and Charleston had four. Leah had eleven assists and Charleston had one block. Hope, Hayden, and Leah led the team with six digs each.
v. Hope Heritage Days Classic – The Jets hosted the 6 th Annual Hope Heritage Days Classica on Saturday in conjunction with the Hope Heritage Days Festival. The Jets defeated Brown County, but were defeated by South Dearborn, Rushville, and Milan. The Jets look to bounce back as they welcome MHC foe North Decatur to Hauser on Tuesday with volleyball starting at 6 p.m.
Boys Tennis
@ Connersville – The boy’s tennis team lost to Connersville 0-5 on Wednesday night. Number 1 doubles of RJ Foster/Kameron Blair lost to Maddox Rees/Parker Thumb 3-6, 3-6. Number 2 doubles of Jacob Bell/Brady Miller lost to Logan Young/Evan Miller 1-6/2-6. Number 3 doubles of Jackson Bell/Ben Wiwi lost to Cordell Escobal/Eli Pearson 2-6, 3-6. In singles play number one James Oliver lost to Anthony Struewing 1-6, 0-6, number two Graydon Kilps lost to Jay McMullen 0-6, 0-6, and number three Curtis Kilps lost to Abel Parsley 0-6, 1-6. In a bonus singles match Dane Richards lost to Brandt Lykins 0-6, 0-6. The Jets will travel to Indy Lutheran on Monday, September 29, 2025.
@ Indy Lutheran – Hauser lost to Indy Lutheran 2-3 in a great match Monday Night. James Oliver lost to JT Anderson 3-6, and 4-6. At two singles Graydon Kilps lost to Jason Balton 0-6, 0-6. Curtis Kilps defeated Noah Street 3-6, 6-4, and 10-8 in a tie breaker. The one doubles team of RJ Foster and Kameron Blair won 6-2, 6-1 vs. Josh Finke and Braylon Stumpf. In the match of the night at two doubles Jacob Bell and Brady Miller lost to Carter Doughtrey and Owen M. 6-3, 6-7, and 6-10 in a tie breaker. The Jets will travel to Columbus North on Wednesday October 1, 2025 starting at 4:30 p.m. vs. Greensburg.

@ Great Pumpkin Invite – Hauser Repeats as Great Pumpkin Champs
The high school boys cross country team dominated the competition at South Ripley Thursday evening, bringing home the bringing home Great Pumpkin Invitational trophy for the second straight year.
Nolan Dailey was the individual runner-up to Milan’s Gabe Riehle, with a time of 16:55.42, followed by teammate Jace Wright in 3rd place at 17:34.32, Max Moore ran a time of 18:12.35 to take 7th place, Mason Moore finished 11th in 19:00.94, and Braydon McFarland rounded out the scoring five with 18th place finish of 19:33.79. Grady Niccum (21:14.96) and Mason Johnson (21:20.66) took 34th and 36th, and Max Miller (25:04.08) placed 53rd.
v. Hope Heritage Days Classic – The Jets hosted the 41st Annual Hope Heritage Days Classic on Saturday morning. The Jets were laced in their throwback Hope Red Devils uniforms for the event. The varsity boys won their second invitational title in less than 48 hours Saturday morning with team and individual victories at the Hope Heritage Days classic. The Jets were paced by Dailey’s first-place finish in 16:40.8. Wright took second with a time 18:04.7, and Max Miller was fourth in 19:08.0. Mason Moore took 9th (19:51.8), McFarland 17th (19:51.8), Niccum 22th (21:16.5), Johnson 28th (22:21.8), and Miller 38th (24:04.9).
The middle school Jets also had outstanding Heritage Days performances. The boys took first place, led by Matthew Moore and his winning time of 10:46.1. Nevin Noble took 3rd, followed by Noah Blankenship in 6th, Raylin Noble 12th, Kaleb Brown 14th, Suri Palia 15th, and Sami Palia 19th. The girls team finished in third place behind Indy Genesis and Morristown. Jaylee Maughon and Kendayln Gernentz were the top finishers for for the Lady Jets, taking fifth and sixth.
The high school team will compete in the Greensburg Invitational this Thursday before running under the lights Saturday night at the Nike XC Town Twilight meet in Terre Haute. The middle school team will also be sending squads to Terre Haute this Saturday, as they compete in the Indiana Middle School Cross County Championship.
Girls Soccer
v. Scottsburg – The girls’ soccer team wanted to help celebrate our foreign exchange players on a special night with Scottsburg. The four foreign exchange students of Dora Sanjuan, Luna Haddouche, Michelle Garcia, and Carlotta Gerber were all recognized with their host families following the 3-2 thrilling win. Michelle Garcia scored two goals with Kennedy Konradi recording an assist. Madison Mann added a goal to help the Jets pick-up a sendoff win in the last home match of the season. The Jets will travel to Brown County on Thursday.
@ Brown County / @ Union County – The Lady Jets traveled to Brown County and were defeated 4-0 in a tough match. They ended their week traveling to Union County and were defeated 6-1. Carlotta Gerber found the back of the net off an assist from Kennedy Konradi. The Jets will travel to Christel House Academy on Wednesday for a 6:30 p.m. start to end the regular season.
Boys Soccer
v. Morristown – Hauser (8-4) lost a conference heartbreaker in a shootout Tuesday Night. It was 3-3 at the end of 94 minutes of play. Phillipe Douce scored 2 goals and Landon Pendleton added the third. Camden Grimes assisted on 2 of the goals. Luke Raisor had a great game in goal collecting 11 saves. The Man of the Match goes to Phillipe Douce. The Jets host Knightstown on Thursday night for another home game starting at 6:00 pm. Come check out the new bleachers at the Jet pitch!
v. Knightstown – Hauser (9-4) rebounded with a 4-0 win over Knightstown tonight at Hauser. The Jets pieced some precision passing along with constant offensive pressure to battle back after 2 tough overtime losses the last couple of games. The Jets were led by Junior Camden Grimes with 2 goals and control of the midfield. Phillipe Douce added a goal and an assist. Alex Conde added a 4th goal and Ayden Stroup notched an assist. Luke Raisor played the entire game in goal and collected 2 saves. The Man of the Match goes to Camden Grimes placing 2 goals in the back of the net. The Jets finish out the week on a long road trip to Union County this Saturday. The Lady Jets will kick off at 10 a.m. and then be followed by the Men’s team at noon.

Hauser 1- Union County 1
The Jets (9-4-1) traveled a long distance to battle Union County to a 1-1 tie. Alex Conde scored a goal on an assist from Phillipe Douce. With the assist, Douce broke the single season assist record notching his 9th assist of the season. Luke Raisor played in goal racking up 6 saves. The Man of the Match goes to Koleson Gernentz for excellent defense and stepping up to win several balls in the midfield. The Jets play conference foe Southwestern on Tuesday night at the Jet Pitch. Kickoff starts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Girls Golf
@ Sectional – The girls’ golf team traveled to Bloomington on Monday for the sectional. Cheyanne Moody led the way with a 117, while Rebeckah Sessions shot a 120. Lydia Taylor rounded out the scoring with a 139 on a rainy Monday. The team got better throughout the season and appreciated all the support.
