Isabelle Clarissa Nida, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away far too soon on September 15, 2025, in her hometown of Columbus, Indiana. She was 26 years old.

Born on July 29, 1999, in Columbus, Isabelle was the youngest of three children of Joanna (Shoaf, Nida) Hoover and Michael W. Nida.

Isabelle’s life, though short, was one that connected deeply to those she loved. She had a special gift for bonding with animals, and her heart was especially tender toward dachshunds, which brought her endless happiness. Throughout her youth, Isabelle participated in cheerleading and gymnastics, where her energy and bright spirit shone. She cherished her friendships and was most content spending time at home with her family, where she felt the deepest sense of belonging.

She was a dedicated and hardworking young woman, recently employed as a Maintenance Technician at NTN Driveshaft. With determination and ambition, she was pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering at Ivy Tech, aspiring to become a Maintenance Engineer and advance in her career. Her drive and perseverance were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Isabelle is survived by her parents, Joanna and Michael; her brothers, Michael and Cyrus; her grandmothers, Elsie Shoaf and Caryn Siebler; as well as 75 cousins, 15 uncles, 13 aunts, and a host of extended family and friends who adored her. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Paul Shoaf, Michael Nida, and Dwight Siebler, along with four cousins.

Her gentle soul, radiant smile, and unwavering love for her family will forever be cherished. Isabelle’s presence made the world brighter, and while her time here was far too brief, the impact of her love and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
