Nolan Dailey had a successful showing at the state indoor track meet on Saturday, earning a spot on the podium and breaking a twenty-year-old school record.
The senior took seventh place in the 3200-meter run at the Hoosier State Relays, held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Dailey’s time of 9:32.50 goes down as a new indoor/outdoor school record, eclipsing the previous mark of 9:37.1 set by Curtis Carr in 2005.
The Jets open the outdoor season with a home intrasquad meet on Tuesday.
