First Friday’s Cruise-in to Hope returns tomorrow evening rain or shine beginning at 5 p.m. on the Hope Town Square in downtown Hope.
The evening’s entertainment will be Hope’s own international award-winning Night Owl Country Band.
Despite a low turnout due to weather, July’s event raised $440 for the Hope Volunteer Fire Department with a showing of more than three dozen cars.
Organizers are hoping for clear skies despite the chance for storms to roll through in the afternoon, they say.
Cruisers and spectators alike are encouraged to come hungry as there will be a variety of food trucks available, including the Hope Volunteer Fire Department.
There is a $10 parking donation ask for each participating vehicle.
Proceeds from this month’s event will benefit Miller’s Merry Manor and their support for Alzheimer’s Research.

“We appreciate everyone who attends these events,” says Jason Eckart, Hope Town Manager and event organizer. “The effect of the donations goes directly to support this small, but resilient community.”
