Boys’ Basketball

Varsity vs. South Decatur
The Jets hosted MHC foe South Decatur on Tuesday evening for a battle between the teams with the best records in the conference. After a 10-10 tie midway through the first quarter, Hauser erupted for a 22-0 run to break the game wide open. It was all Jets from that point on, as they would roll on to a 69-40 victory over the Cougars.

Gill: 17 points, 6 assists, 2 rebs
Foster: 9 points, 2 rebs, 2 steals
Bechtel: 8 points, 8 rebs, 3 blocks

JV vs. South Decatur
The JV Jets picked up a conference victory over South Decatur on Tuesday, winning by a score of 52-25.

Scoring for the Jets:
Wright 17, Bell 9, McFarland 9, Kilps 9, Douce 4, Bense 4

Varsity vs. Southwestern
The Jets made the short trip to Southwestern on Thursday night, looking to wrap up the sole Mid-Hoosier Conference title for the third consecutive season. They did just that, routing the host Spartans by a score of 67-28. Hauser becomes only the 2nd boys’ team in the 61-year history of the MHC to go undefeated for 3 straight years of conference play, joining the ‘06-’08 Jets.

JV vs. Southwestern
The JV Jets wrapped up an undefeated MHC season, taking down Southwestern 67-27 on Thursday evening.

Scoring for the Jets:
Wright 16, McFarland 10, Taylor 8, Kilps 7, Stuckey 7, Bell 6, Raisor 5, Fuller 5, Bense 2, Larner 2

Varsity vs. Lawrenceburg
A Saturday afternoon road trip to Lawrenceburg was in store for the Jets to take on the 3A Tigers. After a back and forth first quarter that saw the Jets lead 10-8, Hauser would turn up the heat, outscoring the Tigers by 9 in the 2nd quarter to lead 34-15 at the halftime break. The Jets stayed hot in the second half, on the way to a decisive 78-42 victory. The win improved the Varsity record to 16-2 on the season!

JV vs. Lawrenceburg
A big second half propelled the JV Jets over Lawrenceburg on Saturday to earn a 49-35 victory. The JV record now stands at 13-2 on the season!

Girls’ Basketball

@ JCD Sectional #60 v. Crothersville
Lady Jets Fly Past Crothersville in Sectional 60 Opener
The Lady Jets opened postseason play in style, defeating Crothersville in the first round of Sectional 60 with a strong all-around performance and relentless defense.

Hayden Dickey led the charge with a flawless night from the floor, pouring in 22 points on a perfect 8-for-8 shooting. Dickey’s efficiency set the tone early and kept the Lady Jets in control throughout the game.

June Berkenstock delivered a big double-digit effort, finishing with 10 points and 9 rebounds while adding 3 steals on the defensive end. Her presence in the paint and ability to create turnovers helped fuel transition opportunities.

Braelyn Williams and Kennedy Konradi each chipped in 8 points, providing key scoring support. Konradi was especially disruptive defensively, recording 4 steals and an impressive 8 deflections to keep Crothersville out of rhythm.

With balanced scoring and active defense across the lineup, the Lady Jets advanced in Sectional 60 and will look to carry that momentum into the next round.

Lady Jets’ Season Comes to an End in Sectional 60 Semifinals

The Lady Jets saw their season end with a hard-fought loss to No. 4-ranked Trinity Lutheran in the Sectional 60 semifinals. Despite the tough matchup, the Lady Jets competed with grit and determination until the final buzzer.

Braelyn Williams led all Lady Jets scorers with 17 points, attacking offensively and keeping the team within reach throughout the contest. June Berkenstock turned in another strong all-around performance, finishing with 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Her effort on both ends of the floor was a key factor in the team’s fight.

Kennedy Konradi contributed across the stat sheet with 4 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal, while Abby Manley added 4 points to round out the scoring.

The Lady Jets wrap up the season with a 13–11 record, a year marked by growth, resilience, and competitive play. Adding to the program’s success, the JV team put together an impressive 19–1 season, showcasing the depth and future of Lady Jets basketball.
