Regina K. “Jeannie” Goldsmith, 71, of Clifford, passed away Sunday January 11, 2026 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born April 14, 1954 in Bartholomew County she was the daughter of Lawrence A. and Minnie Louise Henderson Burton.
Jeannie‘s past employments were Alma Plastics, Flat Rock Haw Creek School system at Cross Cliff Elementary School and she was a hairdresser.
She was a member of New Vision Community Church.
She was a very social lady and she loved her online shopping groups where she made many friends.
Jeannie’s funeral will be Monday January 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Pastor Wayne Lee will officiate her funeral. Visitation will be Monday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
Monetary donations in memory of Jeannie may be donated to donor’s choice of American Cancer Society branch. Jeannie is survived by siblings, Hazel Bowles of Columbus and Michael E. (Kathy) Burton of Columbus; a special niece, Peggy Hynes of Columbus and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews she loved so dearly.
She is preceded in death by, her parents; and sisters, Carolyn Turnmire and Sheila Cox.
