Attention Hope residents!

Are you considering a volunteer opportunity in the new year? Maybe haven’t found the right opportunity just yet? Well, consider this, Main Street of HOPE is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on the Main Street Board.

That’s right!

And there’s more than one way to serve.

According to the organization’s Facebook page, Main Street of HOPE has opportunities available for individuals with a passion to serve, including positions on the Executive Board, Economic Development Committee, and Organizational Board.

Those who are interested in Executive Board positions are asked to send a direct message to Main Street of HOPE to receive additional information regarding the expectations and qualifications prior to applying.

The board adds that there will be an informational in-person meeting offered in the near future with multiple dates to attend that have yet to be announced. 

Those who may not be aware of Main Street of HOPE have certainly felt the organization’s impact even without realizing it as it’s spearheaded some and collaborated on others to bring some of the most beloved holiday events in recent years, including the annual Breakfast with Santa held at WILLow LeaVes of Hope, located on the Town Square on Jackson St., not to mention unique contests, like Deck the Town, and the recent HOPE Filled Christmas shopping event that highlighted and supported small businesses on the Town Square during the holidays.

Dedicated to the preservation, beautification and promotion of local businesses in downtown Hope, Main Street of HOPE describes itself as a “community organization dedicated to the revitalization of the Hope Town Square” all the while attracting growth in many areas, such as being a go-to destination for new residential opportunities and tourism.
